Access and approach

From Courchevel Moriond

Start from the Belvédère car park (1,738 m), above Courchevel Moriond. The road continues on to the hamlet of Prâlin, but it is closed to cars during the season.

Follow the track through the forest to the Plan de la Porte (1,771 m), then the Biol alpine pasture (1,873 m) with its cross. The path climbs the grassy slopes towards the Glacerets (2,247 m) and finishes in the scree at the foot of the towers. A sign fixed to the rock points to the Portetta gap (2,627 m) on the left and the Col de Mey on the right.

From Pralognan-la-Vanoise

Via the Col des Saulces (2,456 m), which links Pralognan to the Avals valley. Allow around an hour more than from Courchevel.

• Golden Friends: 1 h 45 from Courchevel 1650, 2 h from Pralognan.
• Elle est pas Biol la vie: 2 h from Courchevel 1650, 3 h from Pralognan.
