ROUND 2 - DYNAFIT SKI TOURING COURCHEVEL - 15 December 2010

Round 2 to Stéphanie Favre and Frédéric Thérisod.

This Wednesday evening, Stéphanie Favre of the Club Alpinisme du Val D’Abondance was first woman home in the 2nd Dynafit Ski Touring Courchevel in just over 34 minutes (34min16s), beating the record set last week by Blandine Du Crest. Among the men, victory went to Frédéric Thérisod (28min22s). He was followed by Anthony Fraissard of the 7th BCA (28min46s) and Sébastien Fayalle of the Etoile Sportive du Cornet (29min32s). The 42 participants, who came from all backgrounds, had the surprise of finding among the ski mountaineers part of the French fencing team, who did not disgrace themselves. Brice Guyard, double Olympic foil champion and team gold medallist at the Sydney Games, finished in just over 45 minutes (45min35s).
